Xmas and New Year Open!

As a family run business we are open every day through Xmas and the New Year.  NZ Post couriers also work as normal during this time but are closed on the statutory holidays; Dec 25th & 26th, plus Jan 1st & 2nd

Packaging

We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging!   It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again.   Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).

Delivery

We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if  your address is "RD") no matter how much you order.  We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.

Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Description

NOW Foods Slippery Elm delivers 400mg of Slippery Elm inner bark per capsule that's 800mg per serving from Ulmus rubra, a small tree with a long history of traditional use in herbal medicine. The inner bark of Slippery Elm is rich in mucilage, a gel-forming substance that may help coat and soothe the tissues of the gastrointestinal tract when ingested. This makes it a popular choice among those looking to help support the comfort and lining of the digestive tract. The formula uses only the inner bark — the part of the plant where mucilaginous compounds are concentrated — in a simple, clean capsule with minimal other ingredients.

Ingredients

Per 2 vegetable capsules (serving size), 50 servings per container:

Total Carbohydrate less than 1g
Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) (Inner Bark) 800mg

Other ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose capsule), Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Microcrystalline Cellulose.

Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients.

Directions

Take 2 capsules 1 to 3 times daily. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
