Now Foods P-5-P delivers Vitamin B-6 in its active coenzyme form — Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate — paired with Magnesium Bisglycinate for enhanced absorption and synergistic benefit. Standard Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine) must first be converted by the liver into P-5-P before the body can use it. This formula bypasses that conversion step entirely, providing B-6 in its immediately bioavailable form for greater uptake and effectiveness.

Vitamin B-6 in the P-5-P form supports as an enzyme catalyst across a wide range of body processes, most notably energy metabolism and neurotransmitter function — supporting both physical energy production and healthy brain and nervous system activity.
