Xmas and New Year Open!

As a family run business we are open every day through Xmas and the New Year.  NZ Post couriers also work as normal during this time but are closed on the statutory holidays; Dec 25th & 26th, plus Jan 1st & 2nd

Packaging

We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging!   It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again.   Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).

Delivery

We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if  your address is "RD") no matter how much you order.  We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.

Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Description

NOW Foods Glycine Pure Powder delivers pure, free-form glycine in bulk powder format, the smallest and simplest of all amino acids, and one of the most functionally versatile. Glycine is a conditionally non-essential amino acid involved in an exceptionally wide range of biological processes. It serves as a necessary precursor for the production of glutathione — the body's primary endogenous antioxidant — as well as creatine, bile acids, haemoglobin, DNA, and the majority of proteins in the human body. It helps support glycogen storage in the liver and muscles, making glucose more readily available for energy production. Glycine also functions as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, where it may support a calm, balanced mood and help promote healthy sleep patterns by facilitating nerve impulse regulation. 

Ingredients

Per 3/4 level teaspoon (approx. 3g) serving:

Glycine (Free-Form) 3,000mg

Other ingredients: None.

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Directions

Take 1/4 to 3/4 level teaspoon daily, mixed into water or juice, preferably on an empty stomach. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. This product is sold by weight, not volume — natural variation in fill level may occur.
