Xmas and New Year Open!

As a family run business we are open every day through Xmas and the New Year.  NZ Post couriers also work as normal during this time but are closed on the statutory holidays; Dec 25th & 26th, plus Jan 1st & 2nd

Packaging

We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging!   It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again.   Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).

Delivery

We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if  your address is "RD") no matter how much you order.  We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.

Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Description

NOW Foods Lutein Double Strength delivers 20mg of free lutein per veg capsule, naturally derived from marigold flower extract, providing twice the potency of the standard NOW Lutein 10mg product. Lutein is a carotenoid pigment and one of the predominant nutrients concentrated in the macula — the specialised central area of the retina responsible for sharp, detailed vision. Because the body cannot synthesise lutein on its own, daily supplementation helps support adequate levels in ocular tissues. Lutein may help support the macula's natural defences against free radicals generated by sunlight and high-energy blue light exposure, making it a practical consideration for those who spend extended time in front of screens or in bright environments.

Ingredients

Per 1 vegetable capsule (serving size) — 90 servings per container:

Lutein (Free Lutein from Lutein Esters) (from Marigold Flowers Extract / Tagetes erecta) — 20mg

Other ingredients: Cellulose (capsule), Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Beet Powder, Ascorbyl Palmitate.

Directions

Take 1 capsule daily with a fat-containing meal. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
