5-HTP (100mg) Overview
Although it's a technically an amino acid compound, 5-HTP is actually an herbal supplement, derived from the herb Griffonia simplicifolia. In the body, 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) gets converted to the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin influences how we feel physically and mentally, but since serotonin can't be supplemented directly, people have used 5-HTP for help with a wide range of conditions related to low serotonin levels, primarily appetite regulation, poor mood, and poor sleep patterns. NOW Foods is a best-selling brand of 5-HTP which is available in 50 and 100 mg potencies.

Packaging
We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging! It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!
Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.
