Xmas and New Year Open!

As a family run business we are open every day through Xmas and the New Year.  NZ Post couriers also work as normal during this time but are closed on the statutory holidays; Dec 25th & 26th, plus Jan 1st & 2nd

Packaging

We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging!   It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again.   Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).

Delivery

We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if  your address is "RD") no matter how much you order.  We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.

Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Description

Sattvayur Slippery Elm Bark Powder is a 100% pure, spray-free powder made from the inner bark of Ulmus Rubra, a tree native to North America with a centuries-long history of traditional use in herbal medicine. The inner bark of Slippery Elm is rich in mucilage, a naturally gel-forming substance that, when mixed with water, creates a thick, soothing liquid. This mucilaginous quality is what makes it so well regarded for supporting the comfort and lining of the digestive tract, and it has traditionally been used to help support healthy digestion, soothe the gastrointestinal tract, and ease general digestive discomfort. It can be prepared as a warm drink by steeping in boiling water, or stirred into smoothies and porridge. The powder has a mild, slightly sweet, earthy flavour that blends naturally into warm beverages. Spray-free and 100% natural with no other ingredients.

Ingredients

Per 2 teaspoon (4g) serving:

Spray-Free Slippery Elm Bark Powder (Ulmus Rubra) 4g (4000mg)

Other ingredients: None.

Directions

Pour two cups of boiling water over 2 teaspoons (4g) of powder. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Drink 3 times daily. Reseal immediately after each use.

Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation. Individuals with a known health condition should consult a healthcare professional before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cold, dark place or refrigerate after opening.
