Xmas and New Year Open!

As a family run business we are open every day through Xmas and the New Year.  NZ Post couriers also work as normal during this time but are closed on the statutory holidays; Dec 25th & 26th, plus Jan 1st & 2nd

Packaging

We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging!   It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!

Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again.   Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).

Delivery

We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if  your address is "RD") no matter how much you order.  We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.

Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.

We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Description

Harker Herbals Bowel Cleanse is a traditional liquid herbal formula designed to gently support the natural eliminatory functions of the lower intestinal tract and bowel. Rather than acting as a harsh laxative, it works by encouraging healthy peristaltic movement and toning bowel tissues, making it non-habit forming and suitable for use over several weeks.

The formula combines three well-established bowel-supportive herbs: Cascara Sagrada, a bark traditionally used in herbal medicine as a gentle stimulant laxative; Senna, which contains anthraquinone glycosides that support natural bowel movement; and Rhubarb Root, which contributes both mild laxative and digestive-toning properties. Carrageen (Irish Moss) lubricates the bowel wall, Wormwood acts as a bowel cleanser and vermicide, and Activated Carbon helps bind and neutralise toxins in the intestinal tract. Cayenne Pepper and Ginger support circulation and digestive motility, while Kelp and Licorice provide mineral and demulcent support respectively. A blend of pure essential oils — Aniseed, Patchouli, Orange, Cinnamon, and Bay Laurel — rounds out the formula with carminative and antimicrobial properties.

Contains no yeast, gluten, wheat, dairy, artificial colours or sweeteners.

Directions

Adults: Take 5–10ml three to four times daily. Shake the bottle vigorously before each dose. Best taken straight or may be taken in 50ml of boiled water as a herbal tea.

To accustom to the product, take a quarter to half dose for the first 2–3 days before building to the full dose. Avoid coffee or tea for 15 minutes before and after each dose. Can be safely taken over several weeks.

Precautions

Not to be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding. If taking prescribed medication, consult your healthcare professional before use. Do not exceed the stated dose. Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist, seek professional medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
