Sambucol First Defence is a fast-acting immune support formula designed to be taken at the first signs of seasonal ills and chills. Combining high potency black elderberry and elderflower with vitamin C, zinc, and honey, this great-tasting liquid helps support natural immune function and respiratory health when the body is under pressure. Suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and over, it provides convenient support for the whole family.
Ingredients
Each 15mL oral liquid contains:
Sambucus nigra (Black Elderberry) flower extract dry concentrate 250mg
Equivalent to dry flower 3.75g
Sambucus nigra (Black Elderberry) fruit juice dry 163mg
Equivalent to fresh fruit juice 5.7g
Honey 1.5g
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 82.5mg
Zinc (as Zinc Oxide) 3mg
Glucose
Citric Acid
Potassium Sorbate
Natural Flavours
Colloidal Silicon Dioxide
Directions
Best taken at the first signs of ills and chills or as directed by your healthcare professional
Age 2–5 years: Take 2.5mL twice daily
Age 6–11 years: Take 7.5mL twice daily
Age 12 years and over: Take 15mL twice daily

Packaging
We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging! It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!
Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use NZ Post CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.
We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.

Intensive Use (12 years & over): 2 capsules, 2 times a day.
