Lutein with OptiLut supplies bioavailable lutein esters and zeaxanthin from Marigold Extract, a highly bioavailable, natural source of these two carotenoid nutrients and the most abundant source in nature.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are the major carotenoids found in human blood, and are highly concentrated in the retina of the human eye. Lutein and zeaxanthin are also potent free radical neutralizers that likely contribute to the body's spectrum of antioxidant defenses.

Packaging
We only now use 100% recyclable or reusable packaging! It costs us a bit more but we think it's the right thing to do!
Our own bemo products are in re-useable high food grade stand-up pouches - just wash out and use again. Our cool black courier bags are 100% home compostable - simply add them to your home compost bin! (removing the shipping labels is recommended).
Delivery
We ship to any address (including rural addresses and PO boxes) in NZ, we charge a flat rate for normal (non-rural) delivery, and a flat rate for rural delivery (if your address is "RD") no matter how much you order. We use CourierPost and no signature is required.
Our aim is to ship orders on the day we receive them if we get orders before 3pm. Stock is all despatched from 1 location and usually you'll receive your order next day for major metro areas, and other locations within 1-2 days.
We provide shipping updates and notifications by email to keep you informed.
